Antique Navette Natural Emerald and Diamond Ring. The beauty of the Navette ring and its long history are fascinating. The ring's popularity began in the 18th century. Navette is the French meaning for 'tiny ship', hence the design.

The natural green emerald is cut in the step cut or emerald shape. Clarity, due to chip is I2 clarity. Stone measures approximately 3.70 x 4.83 mm
Diamonds are Old Mine Cut with one exception being a modern round brilliant cut located on the same side where the Emerald is chipped.

Condition: Good. The Emerald is chipped on one side or length side (shown in first photograph). The diamonds are mostly uniform except for a couple (2) which are much smaller. Due to age of item, commensurate with age and use.
